What is Niagara Stands Out?

A local business directory for Niagara and Ontario. Look up a business by service and town, or describe a job and choose which listed businesses hear about it. Business owners can claim and correct their listing for free, and can buy optional listing upgrades or a neighbourhood direct-mail campaign.

How do I find a provider in my town?

Use the search at the top of this page, or browse the directory by service or town. Listings the owner has claimed come first, then the listings with the most complete contact details. Your details go only to the businesses you choose, and only when you send a request.

I own a local business — how do I get started?

Claim your free listing and correct anything that is wrong. After that you can keep your details up to date, and if you want more, choose an optional listing upgrade or a direct-mail campaign.

Can a business pay to rank higher?

No. The normal order is owner-claimed listings first, then the most complete listings, and payment is never part of it. Paid upgrades are labelled Sponsored. They never change that order and never add a verified badge.

Is the directory listing free?

Yes. Claiming and keeping a basic listing is free. Two optional upgrades are sold: Featured ($49.99 CAD) and Premium ($199.99 CAD). Charged once for one month: 31 days counted from the day your listing switches on. It does not renew. Each product page lists exactly what is and is not included.

How does the direct-mail campaign work?

You pick a Canada Post postal walk near your business. We design, print and mail 500 postcards to every door on it, with QR and call tracking so you can see what came back. The starting campaign is $998 CAD.

How do I reach a person?
